Downtown — where all the lights are bright
This morning I had to take the car in for service. Which is located at Van Ness and Market. And they have a shuttle that will take you downtown. This for me means being dropped off at California and Market to catch the Presidio Shuttle.
For those who don’t know I work in the Presidio which is a national park in San Francisco. Right at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s quite a bit away from downtown. Mainly residential.
While waiting for the shuttle I had forgotten what is was like to work downtown. All the hustle and bustle. Men in suits, which if someone is wearing a suit at my work we all point and laugh. And women in real high heels. Made me sort of miss working downtown. Even with San Francisco only have 700k people living in it, downtown is busy, busy, busy. You feel like you are in much larger city.
But alas I got to work, in the park. Full of strollers and old people speed walking.

Pharmacies in South America (talking to co-worker)
Co-worker: “Yeah I got my wisdom teeth pulled in South America. I cost me 24 bucks. Then I had to go to a pharmacy by myself to get pain killers.â€
Me: “Oh a “pharmacyâ€?â€
Co-worker: “No that’s a different place where they spit liquor on you, then smack you in the face with a plant.â€

Shiny and new.
As you can see I have a new site design. Happened sort of randomly. I wanted to work in my Picasa photos into the site. Still have a couple kinks to work out.

Strange Email Thread
These are the subjects discussed with a couple of coworkers over a thread of about 50 emails. So this is one very long drawn-out email conversation
